About Us

The Marmaton Market Inc was purchased in May 2018 by a group of individuals in the community and surrounding area who became members of The Marmaton Market. The store had been on the market for sale for several years and the people of the community wanted to make sure that the store stayed open and operational for the needs of the community. 

We started to stock the shelves with the items that the customers wanted and needed in the community with the focus on fresh produce and meats as well as standard cupboard items. The store has evolved even further in the past year with the funding being received to purchase a new produce case and a new meat case as well as 2 additional coolers and a 3-door freezer for ice cream. These purchases have enabled The Marmaton Market to expand even further into fresh meats and produce with greater varieties and availability.

The Marmaton Market is a full-line grocery store that also carries limited amounts of health and beauty, cleaning, and other items that the customers in the community request and purchase on a regular basis.
